The Sinai Peninsula connects the continents of Asia and Africa and is surrounded by the Gulf of Suez, Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Israeli Negev desert. The Sinai has silently witnessed the march of conquerors for centuries such as Alexander the Great, Napoleon's French army, the British under Allenby and Israeli/Egyptian skirmishes. An area of great religious significance, the Sinai is said to be the desert where Moses and the Israelites wandered for decades before entering the promised land.

Your accommodation and return airport transfers will be provided - you willl be met at the airport.
Your accomodation will be located in a Bedouin Camp in Nuweiba sleeping in a Hosha directly on the beach (2 sharing) which is great for relaxing, meditation, snorkelling and swimming, evening entertainment is singing and playing instruments telling stories with the bedouin around the camp fire.

St Katherine and Mt. Sinai
Called Mt. Horeb in the Bible and locally known as Jebel Musa (Gebel Musa), Mt Sinai is concidered to be the place where Prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. One of the highest mountains in Egypt, with a small Orthodox church and a mosque on its summit at 2285 meters from sea level. Mt Sinai forms one massif with Jebel Safsafa and Jebel Loza, with many small basins on the top. In these basins there are old churches, small gardens and relics of monastic life. The most common route to the peak is from the Monastery via the "Steps of Repentance " built by monks or via the camel path built by Viceroy of Egypt, Abbas Hilmi Pasha I. The town of St. Katherine is in the Sinai peninsula in Egypt at an elevation of about 1600 meters from sea level, at the foot of the Sinai High Mountains. Many visitors come to visit St. Katherine's Monastery, the oldest continuously inhabited monastery in the World built on the site where Moses (Prophet Musa) talked to God in the miracle of the Burning Bush, and to climb Mt. Sinai (the Biblical Mt. Horeb, known locally as Jebel Musa) where Moses received the Ten Commandments. You will leave in the night, travel by jeep or minibus to the foot of the mountain then climb the mountain at dawn, either by camel or on foot and watch the sunrise from the top of Mount Sinai then onto visit the Monastery in the morning.
Into the Mountains to experience Bedouin Life
A trip into the mountains with an experienced Bedouin Guide and myself for 2 days and 1 night - travelling by 4 x 4 Jeep, Camel and on foot. Experiencing the peace and tranquility of the mountains, you will visit Coloured Canyon, Rainbow Canyon, many Oasis's and bedouin villages along the way. All food and drink is included and will be traditional Bedouin food cooked over the fire. Stories around the fire and plenty of time for meditation and relaxation. Sleep under the stars and experience the clarity of the desert night sky.
After all the activity there will be 3 days left free for you to relax and unwind or be attuned to either Karuna or Usui Reiki and learn healing techniques with myself. Relax with a massage, reflexology or Reiki treatment and unwind in tranquil surroundings. These can be booked when you arrive through myself.
